Day 1
Arrive around mid-night, assistance on arrival and drive to your pre- booked hotel. Morning free. Afternoon visit to Old Delhi. Overnight in hotel.
Day 2
Early morning transfer to railway station for 'fast' train to Haridwar. Sightseeing in Haridwar, after lunch drive (25kms) to Rishikesh. Overnight in hotel. Evening, attend Aarti ceremony at Triveni Ghat on the holy Ganges. Overnight in hotel.
Day 3
Today after breakfast, long drive (240kms/9hrs) along the rushing Alaknanda River to Joshimath (1975 m). The route is dotted with villages, and offers magnificent views of the Alaknanda Valley. Overnight in Hotel Dronagari.
Day 4
A relaxing day to enjoy Joshimath (seat of Sankaracharya) and its beautiful Temple. An optional day visit to holy Badrinath. Overnight in hotel.
Day 5
After breakfast a short drive of 14kms to Auli, from here you will have your first views of the mountain goddess-Nanda Devi. A free day for acclimatization, and walks to the nearby village. Overnight camp in a beautiful meadow.
Day 6
The trail beyond Gurson Bugyal is steep in places before we start our ascent over a rocky outcrop to a small lake beside a well constructed trail coming from Tapovan village. From the lake, the trail continues through a mixed pine and oak forest for two to three kms, before descending in to the meadow at Chitriganta (3310m). Dinner and overnight in tents.
Day 7
Himalayan MountainToday we ascend the ridge above Chitriganta. Below the ridge, the trail leads through a large meadow offering spectacular views of the Himalayas and Zanskar ranges, before crossing over the Kauri Pass (3640m). From the Pass we have beautiful views of Nanda Devi (7816 m) and Nanda Devi East Summit (7434 m). From here the route leads along the right side of the gorge, past a small shepherds encampment, to a clearing at Dakwani (3300m). Dinner and overnight in tents.
Day 8
Today the trail leads us down to a small wooden bridge over the river which flows through the Kauri Pass. After crossing the bridge, there is a steep ascent to a small ridge, before a short descent to an impressive waterfall. Via Brithi Ganga, we cross the suspension bridge over the river before ascending to Ghangri (2010 m). Dinner and overnight in rents.
Day 9
We will continue trekking up through the forest for 450 metres to Brithi Ganga and the Nandakni valleys. Camp at Ramani.
Day 10
Today we follow a well defined trail which leads high above the river along the true right side of the Nandagini valley. We stay overnight in tents at an excellent campsite beside the Nandagini river, just beyond the village.
Day 11
From Sutol, the forest trail ascends to Kunol. Although steep in places, the trail is lined with orchids and luxuriant ferns and passes through one of the finest mixed forests in Garhwal. There is a possibility of seeing the barking deer and the occasional leopard in this area.
Day 12
Following, the trail down the valley for short while, we then climb up to an open meadow and a small temple with views of Trishul at the head of the valley. From the meadow, there is a short descent to a small tributary before we commence the long climb to Badni Bugyal. Overnight in tents at Badni Bugyal (3350m).
Day 13
Today is a gradual climb up and along the north - east ridge towards Trishul. The trail reaches a cairn overlooking Badni Bugyal. To the north, you will enjoy uninterrupted views of Trishul and Nanda Ghunti.
Day 14
After savouring the panoramic views of the main Himalayas, the 500m - steep climb to the sacred waters of Roop Kund takes around three hours. Roop Kund (4,450 m) is 50m below the trail at the head of the valley. The return trek to Badni Bugyal via Bhugu Basa takes about 3 hrs. Dinner and overnight in the tents.
Day 15
The trail from Bugyal descends steeply through the forest to the village of Didana (2450 m). A further descent leads us to the bridge over Badni Ganga to Mundoli, where our coach/jeep will be waiting for us. Overnight in tents at Mundoli (1970m).
Day 16
After early breakfast, we drive 80kms through beautiful pine forests and small towns, to the picturesue hill station of Ranikhet, offering fine views of the himalaya. Here our stay will be in charming Rosemount hotel.
Day 17
After breakfast a lovely drive through mixed Sal forests takes us to the famous Corbett National Park (114kms/3hrs). Our two night stay will be in Tiger Camp. Evening 'Nature Walk' along the river Kosi.
Day 18
A full day of game viewing by jeep or elephant. Overnight in Tiger Camp.
Day 19
After breakfast, drive back to Delhi (350kms/6hrs) through villages
and towns. Arrive and check into hotel. Evening free to relax. After dinner transfer to the airport.

Early morning fly.
