Day 1
Arrive in Johannesburg, City of Gold, where you will be met and assisted by a Spectrum Tour registered tour guide. Flight booked by you
Transfer to Bakubung Game Lodge in the Pilanesberg Game Reserve which is a malaria free, Big Five area. The 55 000 hectare park is almost circular as it encompasses the area of a 1200 million year old volcanic crater. Afternoon game drive and dinner in the boma, under the African stars (drinks to own account). Overnight at Bakubung. (D)
Day 2
Early Breakfast. Transfer to the Sun City for 18 holes of golf at either the Lost City or Gary Player Course. The Gary Player course has a worldwide reputation for quality and difficulty while the Lost City course is known to be Gary Player's favourite. After lunch at Sun City (to own account) you will have the afternoon at your leisure. Swim or enjoy tennis, horse riding etc. before your transfer back to Bakubung for dinner (drinks to own account) and overnight. (B,D)
Day 3
Early morning game drive followed by brunch. Lunch will be at your leisure (to own account). Transfer to Johannesburg International Airport for your flight to George (around 16h00 arranged by yourself). Stop en-route to Johannesburg, at a curio market for African souvenirs. Once in George, you will be transferred to Fancourt where you will have dinner (drinks to own account) and overnight. (B,D)
Day 4
Breakfast. Play golf at one of Fancourt’s four, 18-hole golf courses. Fancourt is one of South Africa’s premier Golf Estates and will host the Presidents Cup in 2003. After lunch (to own account), enjoy a tour of the area with a stop at the pristine sandy, Wilderness Beach. Dinner (drinks to own account) at a local restaurant. Overnight in Fancourt. (B,D)
Day 5
Breakfast. Play golf at the Knysna Golf Club. Lunch at an oyster farm (to own account) and afternoon sightseeing of colourful Knysna including a cruise to the Knysna Heads - these sand stone cliffs mark the entrance to the Lagoon (weather permitting). Dinner (drinks to own account) and overnight in Fancourt (B,D)
Day 6
Breakfast. Play golf at another of Fancourt’s golf courses. Afterwards, transfer to the prime winelands area of Stellenbosch which is South Africa’s second oldest town. Lunch en-route (to own account). Dinner (drinks to own account) and overnight at the Village of Spier. (B,D)
Day 7
Breakfast. Play golf at the Stellenbosch Golf Club. Wine tasting and a picnic lunch at Spier and time permitting, a visit to Spier Birds of Prey and Cheetah outreaches (to own account). A tour of the winelands area and another stop for wine tasting (time permitting). Dinner will be at a popular restaurant in Stellenbosch (drinks to own account). Overnight at the Village of Spier. Day 8
Breakfast. Play golf at the Erinvale Golf Estate. Transfer to Cape Town where you will have the rest of the day and evening at your leisure in the Victoria & Alfred Waterfont and surrounds. Lunch and Dinner to own account. Overnight in Cape Town. (B)
Day 9
Breakfast. Play golf at either the Steenberg Golf Estate or the oldest course in South Africa, The Royal Cape Golf Club. Afterwards, a Cape Point Tour includes:
* Boulders Beach to view the Africa Penguin Colony
* Cape Point Nature reserve - 7 750 hectares of reserve, home to indigenous flora and fauna, including Baboon, Eland and over 150 species of bird including the largest bird in the world, the Ostrich.
* Kirstenbosch Botanical Gardens – well known for its plant diversity.
A lunch stop will be provided during the day (to own account). Dinner will be at a local restaurant (drinks to own account). Overnight in Cape Town. (B,D)
Day 10
Breakfast. Play golf at the Atlantic Beach Golf Estate. Enjoy a Cape Town City Tour which stops at the company’s Gardens and the Bo Kaap Malay Quarter. Visit a world heritage site, Table Mountain and enjoy a harbour cruise (time and weather permitting). Table Mountain is Cape Town’s most famous attraction and is 1 086m above sea level. A Spectrum Tour, complementary farewell dinner will be at a local restaurant, overnight in Cape Town. (B,D)
Day 11
Breakfast. Optional visit to the Pro Shop (a good golfing shop in South Africa) before your transfer to Cape Town International Airport for your onward flight. (B) Onward travel booked by you
