Day 1
Check–in for flight to Livingstone International airport. Upon arrival, meet and greet service by a Spectrum Tour representative and transfer to your hotel. Lunch and dinner will be at your leisure (to own account). Overnight at a Victoria Falls hotel. Flight booked by you
Roaring water and dense spray inspired the Makalolo people to call the falls Mosi-oa-Tunya, 'The Smoke That Thunders'. The falls are twice the height and width of Niagara Falls. Without doubt, the Victoria Falls constitutes one of the most spectacular natural wonders of the world. Visitors can gaze at the mighty Zambezi as it flows, broad and placid, to the brink of a basalt lip seventeen hundred metres wide before taking a headlong plunge into the frothy chasm of the gorge below. This is the world's largest sheet of falling water, yet although its fame has spread far and wide, the site has been tastefully preserved so that tourists do not spoil the magic of the very place they have come to see.
Day 2
Breakfast. Day at leisure, enjoy one of the optional excursions below that can be booked at the hotel or lie at the pool and relax in the warm African sun. Sunset cruise on Zambezi River. Cruising down the river, enjoy the calm of the spectacular water and bush while watching for wild life along the banks and enjoying sundowners and snacks. The waters of the Zambezi begin their 1600-mile journey to the sea in the hills of northwestern Zambia and flow into the eastern highlands of Angola. The river creates a natural border between Zambia and Zimbabwe. There is a chance to see Elephant, the infamous Hippo or Crocodiles. Return to the hotel for dinner at your leisure (to own account).
