Day 1: Arrival in Johannesburg & Transfer to Sun City
Welcome to Johannesburg, South Africa! Upon arrival at O.R. Tambo International Airport, you will be met and assisted by Fulcrum associate in South Africa, iKapa Tours and Travel representative as you are transferred to Sun City Resort, which is a scenic 2-hour drive. Once arriving at Sun City, we proceed to the Sun City Main Hotel for check in procedures.
Deep in the rugged bushveld, in the heart of an ancient volcano, lies the world's most unique resort. This is the internationally acclaimed Sun City. Sun City Resort has a unique heartbeat and an African rhythm of its own and is unlike any other Resort destination in the world. This is pure fantasy and your every desire is met. Day 2: Morning Game Drive & Sun City at Leisure
In the morning after you have enjoyed breakfast (06h00 / 09h00), you will be collected at the Sun City Welcome Center for your game drive in the Pilansberg National Park.
Specialist Wildlife Safari's Tour Operators are situated at the Welcome Centre and guests of Sun City Resort can also enjoy personalised game viewing at the neighbouring 55 000-hectare, malaria free Pilanesberg National Park. There are several wildlife options for guests to choose from.
The emphasis of the Exclusive Safari is to locate the Big 5. Specialist guides will ensure guests experience a true African Safari aboard a specially equipped 6-seater Landcruiser. Guests can view Rhino's wallowing in cool mud baths and Bull Elephants fighting for supremacy in the clarity of daylight. Be a silent witness to a Lion kill, as antelopes graze unsuspecting of the danger lurking in the volcanic landscape. Amid the hills far from the Maddened Crowd, you might catch a glimpse of the elusive Buffalo as they wander unrestricted and free.
Day 3: Full Day Conferencing at Sun City
Sun City Resort offers the largest and most comprehensive conference, event and exhibition facilities in the Southern hemisphere. Whether it is a conference for 20 or 2000 delegates, Sun City Resort has the capacity to stage and host a variety of conferences. A comprehensive choice of venues, resident stage designers, lighting and sound engineers, and a full range of audiovisual equipment are available to accommodate your every need.
Day 4: Sun City via Pretoria City Tour to Sandton, Johannesburg
In the morning after you have enjoyed breakfast, you are collected at your hotel as you are transfer to Johannesburg via a Pretoria City tour. Pretoria today is a mix of ultra-modern architecture and stately old buildings dating from its days as the capital of the Transvaal Republic. It is a pretty city - its gardens and trees flourish in the fertile, well-watered soil of the Apies river valley - and springtime brings the spectacle of tens of thousands of flowering jacaranda trees. Visit the Union Buildings, Church Square, the Voortrekker Monument, the diplomatic suburbs and the University. Thereafter lunch will be enjoyed in Pretoria.
Later the evening you are collected at your hotel and transfer to a restaurant where dinner will be enjoyed.
Day 5: Half Day Gold Reef City Tour
A former working gold mine, Gold Reef City is now a popular theme park, where one can now absorb the atmosphere of the early 1900's while learning the history of the mineral that built Johannesburg. Walk through the original homes of the miners and mine bosses, watch a gold bar being poured and then descend into the depths of a real gold mine. Thereafter lunch will be enjoyed enroute to the hotel.
Later the evening you are collected at your hotel and transfer to a restaurant where dinner will be enjoyed
Day 6: A Fond Farewell…
In the morning after breakfast, you are collected at the hotel and transferred to O.R. Tambo International Airport for your international flight home. This is where we bid you a fond farewell as you take many wonderful and unforgettable memories of South Africa.
