Day 1
On your arrival at Johannesburg International Airport, you will be met and assisted by a Spectrum Tour, registered tour guide and transferred to the Entabeni Game Reserve. Flight booked by YOU.
Located a mere 3 hours drive North from Johannesburg in the malaria-free Limpopo Province, Entabeni Game Reserve is nestled against the majestic Waterberg Mountains. After checking in at Lakeside Lodge, enjoy a welcome drink before lunch (drinks to own account during lunch). The rest of the day will be at your leisure. Enjoy a sunset game drive in an open 4x4 safari vehicle or a night game drive in Big 5 (Lion, Elephant, Leopard, Rhino and Buffalo) territory. Dinner (drinks to own account) and overnight at Entabeni. (L,D)
Day 2
Breakfast. Your stay at Entabeni includes two daily safaris in open 4x4 vehicles. Close encounters with numerous wildlife species are but a few of the special experiences. Qualified and knowledgeable game rangers will take clients on an educational journey of breathtaking scenery, diverse vegetation and prolific bird life. A sheer escarpment of more than six hundred metres divides the 12 000 ha reserve into two different eco-systems, each with its own distinctive charm. An open vehicle safari at Entabeni is an exhilarating experience for nature and wildlife lovers. Lunch and dinner at the lodge (drinks to own account). Overnight at Entabeni. (B,L,D)
Day 3
Breakfast. Enjoy another full day at leisure at Entabeni with two 4x4 game safaris included. Optional excursions that can be done include: guided walks and horseback safaris, a visit to the unique Pedi Cultural Village and Museum, the health/beauty centre and curio shops or enjoy scenic helicopter safaris over the majestic Waterberg mountains – an experience “beyond comparison” (all optional excursions to own account). Lunch and dinner at the lodge (drinks to own account). Overnight at Entabeni. (B,L,D)
Day 4
Breakfast. You will be transfered to Johannesburg International Airport for
your flight to Cape Town. Flight booked by YOU, we suggest a mid morning flight.
On your arrival in the Mother City, meet and assist by a Spectrum Tour, registered
tour guide. You will be transfered to your hotel in Cape Town where you will
have time to freshen up and enjoy lunch (to own account), before a half day,
guided city tour which will include visits to:
* World Heritage Site, Table Mountain (weather permitting, to own account).
Table Mountain is Cape Town’s most famous attraction and is 1 086m above sea
level. The mountain is covered by thousands of species of wild flower and
is the home of the famous silvertree.
* The Company’s Garden is the oldest garden in South Africa, established in
1652 by Jan Van Riebeeck as a vegetable garden to supply fresh produce to
passing ships.
* The South African Museum, which is the oldest Sub-Saharan museum.
* Diamond Works, an educational manufacturing company, where you will be able to see how these precious stones are cut, polished and set into jewellery.
Dinner will be at your leisure (to own account). Overnight at a hotel in Cape Town. (B)
Day 5
Breakfast. Morning departure for a guided full day Cape of Good Hope tour. The tour includes visits to:
* The Atlantic Seaboard along the beautiful coastal road
* Optional cruise to Duiker Island in Hout Bay (weather permitting) to view a Cape Fur Seal colony (to own account).
* Chapman's Peak for wonderful views of the ocean.
* Cape of Good Hope and Cape Point Nature Reserve - 7 750 hectares of reserve are home to indigenous flora and fauna, including Baboon, Eland and over 150 species of bird including the biggest bird in the world, the Ostrich.
* Boulder’s Beach - a 3000 strong African Penguin colony
* Kirstenbosch Botanical Gardens – the world famous indigenous gardens.
A lunch stop will be provided during the day at your leisure (to own account). Dinner will be at your leisure (to own account). Overnight at a hotel in Cape Town. (B)
Day 6
Breakfast. Depart on a guided, full day wine tasting tour in the famous winelands area. Stellenbosch is South Africa's second oldest town, it is renowned for its Cape Dutch buildings and Oak Tree lined streets. Visit the Stellebosch Museum and enjoy lunch at your leisure (to own account). After lunch, visit some wine estates for some cheese and wine tasting. Return back to Cape Town for dinner at your leisure (to own account). Overnight at a hotel in Cape Town. (B)
Day 7
Breakfast. Depending on your flight departure, spend some last minute time at leisure in Cape Town before your transfer to Cape Town International Airport. Tour ends. (B)
