DAY 1 Saturday, SPLIT – MASLINICA
Board the yacht at Split Port between 16h00 and 17h00. You will
depart for Maslinica, the town and port situated on the peninsula.
On the western part of the peninsula is the mountain Marjan
covered with forest. The climate is Mediterranean, and the
vegetation evergreen and even sub-tropical, with palm-trees,
agaves and cactuses. The island is 9 km long and 3 km wide. The
average temperature in July is 28 degrees C, and the average
temperature of the sea is 22-25 degrees C. There are four ports
and 24 bays on the island, and it was civilised in the Illyric
times. Enjoy dinner (to own account) in Maslinica where the boat
will remain anchored overnight, providing you with an opportunity
to take in some of the city’s nightlife.
DAY 2 Sunday, MASLINICA - ZIRJE
Depart for Zirje. The Island is 15.4 km2. It is covered by
underbrush, and the coast is indented with many bays where you can
enjoy a refreshing swim. The only settlement is Zirje, which is
connected by road to the bay Muna where the pier is situated.
Dinner will be at your leisure while you explore this area (to own
account). Overnight at Zirje.
DAY 3 Monday, ZIRJE - OPAT - TELASCICA (KORNATI)
Continue to the Kornati Islets via Opat. This archipelago
consisting of 147 islands, islets and reefs, is named after the
biggest island Kornat. They are mostly built of chalk limestone,
and there are no springs or other sources of water. Most of the
islands are covered with sparse grass, and the sea around them is
full of fish. Many bays on the islands can serve as protection for
small ships. The Kornati were declared a national park in 1980.
The remains of the Illyric settlements, fortified castles and
stone grave hillocks are the oldest archaeological findings. On
the hill Toreta, there are discoveries from the Roman times and
under it are the remains of an early Catholic church. On the hill
itself is the square tower dating back to the beginning of the
Middle Ages, while on several spots on Kornat are traces of mostly
Medieval settlements. Dinner will be at your leisure, the crew

DAY 4 Tuesday, KORNATI - VODICE
Head towards the mainland to Vodice. This holiday resort port is
situated near a shallow bay. The occupations of the inhabitants
are agriculture, fishing and tourism, helped by nice beaches and
rich vegetation. Of the original ancient wall, only one tower is
still preserved. The parish church from the 18th century has a
baroque bell and one painting of the Holy Family. In the 17th
century a small church of the Holy Cross (Sveti Kriz) was built on
the graveyard. Spend the rest of the afternoon and evening
exploring this delightful town and enjoy dinner at one of the many
street cafes (to own account). Overnight at Vodice.
DAY 5 Wednesday, VODICE - SKRADIN (KRKA)
Continue to Skradin with a stop for swimming (time and weather
permitting), lunch will be on board (drinks to own account). There
are numerous traces of ancient settlements, as well as historical
and cultural monuments in Skradin. The oldest record of human
existence here dates from the Palaeolithic age. Here are also the
remnants of the aqueduct of the Roman Scardona, and on the
territory of the national park are numerous remnants of
settlements, fortifications and medieval churches. Among the
sacral buildings, the most valuable are the Franciscan church and
monastery on the island Visovac, and the monastery Krka with a
very rich treasury. On the waterfalls Roski slap and Skradinski
buk are numerous mills that have historical and cultural
importance as monuments of the rural architecture and economic

DAY 6 Thursday, SKRADIN - PRIMOSTIN
Sail along the beautiful coastline to Primostin. This town and
port are situated on the small peninsula, protected from the
northern winds. The main occupations of the inhabitants are
agriculture, wine growing, fishing and tourism. The parish church
of Saint Juraj was restored in 1760. The church of Saint Matin
from the Middle Ages was preserved in a hamlet Krusevo. Enjoy some

DAY 7 Friday, PRIMOSTIN - TROGIR
Continue to the quaint town of Trogir. The older part of the town,
which is situated on an islet. It is connected to the mainland by
a stone bridge and with Ziovo which used to be a suspension
bridge. In the 3rd century BC it was the Greek settlement
Tragurion, in the time of the Roman rule a strong port, and in the
11th century acquired the rank of the diocese, whence its rights
as a town were recognised. In the 12th century it was demolished
by the Saracens, but recovered quickly and underwent a strong
economic development. In 1420 the Venetian rule began, from 1879
to 1918 it was under Austrian rule and after that again Croatian.
The old core of the town, on the islet, was built in the period
between 13th and 15th century and is recognised by UNESCO as a
World Heritage Site. Explore the cobbled streets and wonderful
little markets in Trogir. Dinner will be at your leisure (to own

DAY 8 Saturday, TROGIR
Disembark at 09h00. Onwards travel booked by you.
