Days
Day 1
Arrive Delhi, assistance on arrival in Delhi and transfer to your pre- booked hotel. Morning free, afternoon sightseeing to Old Delhi.
Day 2
Today, we will drive (280kms/5 hrs) across the fertile Indian plains of Haryana and Punjab to Nalagarh. We stay at Nalagarh fort, which was built in 1420 and offers fine views of Shivalik range.
Day 3
Today, full day's breathtaking drive (280/9hrs) through beautiful forests and villages to Kullu Valley. Overnight in resort.
Day 4
Morning free. Drive to Phulga (3hrs.)-through the Hindu and Sikh pilgrimage centre of Manikaran. Overnight camp.
Day 5 Spiti Valley
The trail follows through various villages before crossing the river below Khir Ganga. The trek leads through coniferous forests and past water falls before we reach our camp site- a beautiful meadow with wild flowers at Khir Ganga. Overnight camp. Pbulga Valley
Day 6
From camp there is a steady ascent out of the gcrge. The valley then widens and the trail crosses several delightful pasture, home to a variety of wild flowers in summer. The waterfalls tumbling down the cliffs on the opposite side of the valley are impressive. Overnight camp.
Day 7
The camp at Thakur Khan is above the cliff section of the valley opposite the Dibibokra Nullah. The camp offers the first views of snow capped peaks of the Pin Parbati pass. Overnight camp.
Day 8
Trek passes through several Gaddi encampments before crossing the rock bridge. The trail ascends gradually through flower meadows to reach Mantalai Lake. Overnight camp.
Day 9
Today's climb offers a birds eye view of the Parbati valley and ...directly below the Parbati river gushes out of the main glacier. From here you will have a beautiful view of Paramid peak (6036m) and Snow peak (5640m) .After crossing over boulders, meadows, the path climbs steeply to our sandy camp site at High camp.
Day 10
A day of rest to explore High Camp. Overnight in tents.
Day 11 Kullu
From the high camp there is a steep 200 mts ascent over boulders to a large snow field below the pass. The trek to the Pin Parbat (4810mts) pass takes us across the snow field. The pass is marked by prayer flags. The views of the snow capped ranges towards the Kullu Valley contrast with the barren mountain ranges which stretches east towards Spiti. Crossing the river, we continue down to the Pin Valley. Overnight camp.
Day 12
Today descend to Lower Pin Valley Camp. Overnight in tents.
Day 13
Crossing some streams, we arrive at the grazing pastures for shepherds from the nearby villages. Just below this crossing, the village of Mud can be seen beneath a huge cliff face. Pin Valley has been declared a national park and there have been reports of snow leopard roaming the upper stretches of the valley and blue sheep grazing the high pastures during the summer months. Overnight camp. .
Day 14/15
We start a two day descent to Sanga, the largest village in the Pin Valley. The trail continues on the left side of the valley floor, at some place the trail is hard. After passing through the village, we cross the river by an ingenious trolley fixed on a wire to our overnight camp.
Day 16
Drive to Tabo. Afternoon visit Tabo gompa which is regarded by many as next in significance to the Tholiang gompa of Tibet. It also houses some rare paintings and we will visit to the painting school near the monastery Overnight in tents.
Day 17
Short drive to Kaza. Afternoon visit tc Kye Monastery and the Kibber Village. Overnight in Tents.
Day 18
After breakfast drive over Kunzum-lG (4551mts). A spectacular drive of 110kms to ou: camp at Chota Dhara.
Day 19
Today drive to Manali (105kms), ove; Rothang Pass (3870mts). Stay overnight it Hotel.
Day 20
Explore Manali, with its temples anl beautiful bazaar. Overnighr in hotel.
Day 21 Jama Masjid - Delhi
After breakfast, drive to Kullu and flyrl Delhi. Arrive in Delhi and drive to Agr, (250 kms/4hrs). Overnight in hotel.
Day 22
After breakfast, visit the Taj Mahal, Re, Fort, and continue driving back to Delhi, enroute visit to Sikandra. Stay fey hours in hotel, Late night departure to airport.
Day 23
Early morning flight back.
