The Joe Mooney Summer School of Traditional
Music Song and Dance has been running successfully since 1989 and celebrates
its 15th Anniversary in July 2003. Handed down by the late John McKenna, a
master local Flute player, who through his recordings in New York in 1920’s,
established the flute as a major instrument in traditional music.

button accordion, concertina, harp, tin whistle, banjo, mandolin, piano accordion,
