Lovely old world bars with open fires, songs, quizzes and conversation, along with lively disco bars, extend a warm welcome to the visitor. Ballina is noted for its excellent quality and value in bar food. If you want to play golf you have a choice of two excellent courses; the lovely 18- hole parkland course in Mossgrove, Ballina and the championship links- course in nearby Enniscrone.

If you like to walk you can wind away the day going along the various trails through Belleek woods or following riverside paths. The four-mile beach at Enniscrone is always a walker’s dream, not to mention the swimmers delight.
