The Lake Geneva and Matterhorn Region is quintessential Switzerland, a holiday world in itself. It is centered around the lake and the Alps which, apart from their natural beauty, provide a wide range of business, leisure and pleasure activities. Visitors can relax aboard one of the stately lake steamers and admire the unfolding splendors of the lake shore scenery from fishing villages and vineyards to medieval castles, and enjoy a drink, a meal or even a dinner dance at the same time.
