Milan, one of Europe's richest cities, is known for stylish shops, galleries, and restaurants and has a faster pace of life than most Italian cities. It also has a rich artistic and cultural heritage. Its Duomo, with its beautiful marble facade, is magnificent. La Scala is one of the world's most famous opera houses. Milan is in northern France, about 30 miles south of the alps, and near Lakes Como and Maggiore.

Milan’s Duomo is known as “the wedding cake” for its multi-layered ornamentation on its facade, and the view from the roof is pretty cool. And if you plan enough in advance to get a reservation, Milan is where you will need to go in order to see Leonardo da Vinci’s “The Last Supper.”
Milan is a city that arouses extreme feelings, just like the city lifestyle is extreme too. A frenetic, restless rhythm is part of both work and leisure, so much so that it is difficult to stay unmoved and not get overwhelmed by all the cultural and social stimulus.
