Itinerary
Day 1: Cochin Arrive at Cochin. Pick up from
airport/station and transfer to hotel in Cochin. Check in hotel. Cochin, the
commercial capital of Kerala, has a magnificent natural harbor created by
the underwater malabar mud banks that ensure calm waters. Sightseeing of
Cochin by car followed by a village backwater cruise. Overnight at hotel in
Cochin.
Day 2: Cochin - Munnar
Breakfast. In the morning transfer to Munnar by car. Check in hotel. Munnar
is filled with tea gardens, trout-filled streams, placid lakes and winding
roads. Munnar is meant for walking/ trekking. So just walk around the hill
station to enjoy Munnar. Evening enjoy boating on shikaras at Munnar Lake.

Day 3: Munnar - Thekkady Breakfast. In the morning transfer to
Thekkady by car. Check in hotel. Periyar famous for the wild life sanctuary
and elephants. Most part of Kerela's spices grow here. Also checkout for
Peermade a plantation town providing you the chance to experience the mist.
In the evening enjoy boating at Periyar Lake viewing wild life. Overnight at
hotel in Thekkady.
Day 4: Thekkady - Kumarokam -
Houseboat Breakfast. In the morning transfer to Kumarokam by car.
Kumarakom is a unique backwater destination situated on the banks of
Vembanad Lake. Kumarakom bird sanctuary is a favorite haunt of migratory
birds from across the world, which makes it a renowned bird watching center.
Board houseboat at Kumarokam to enjoy the backwater jewels of Kerela.
Cruise through the palm fringed lagoons enjoying the birds and the fields
towards Alleppey. Lunch and dinner on board. Overnight on houseboat.
Day 5: Houseboat - Alleppey After breakfast, de board from
houseboat at Alleppey. Check in hotel at Alleppey. Alleppey - the Venice of
the East is a most beautiful backwater lagoon. Take long strolling walks
around the shores of the Vembanad Lake to enjoy the serene beauty of the
region. Overnight at hotel in Alleppey.
Day 6:
Alleppey - Kovalam Breakfast. Proceed for Kovalam. Check in hotel
at Kovalam beach. The fishing village of Kovalam lies 10 kilometres south of
Thiruvananthapuram, the capital of Kerala. Keralas internationally
renowned beach destination, Kovalam has been a favourite holidayist haunt
since the 1930s. Made of three adjacent crescent-shaped beaches, Kovalam
offers excellent water sports facilities. Rest of the day free. Overnight at
hotel in Kovalam.
Day 7: Kovalam Breakfast. Sightseeing
of Kovalam and Trivandrum by car. The important sightseeing destinations
being the Padmanavaswami Temple, Padmathirtha Lake, Napier Museum,
Chitralayam Art Gallery and Padmanavpuram Palace. Overnight at hotel in
Kovalam.
Day 8: Kovalam - Trivandrum - Onwards
Breakfast. In time transfer to Trivandrum airport / station for onward
journey by car.
