Day 01. Kolkata to Bhubaneswar:
Arrive Kolkata (Culcutta), garland welcome, assistance and transfer to the pre-booked hotel. Afternoon sightseeing and transfer to airport for flight to Bhubaneswar. O/n Hotel.

Day 02. Bhubaneswar:
This morning we tour Bhubaneswar, which has some stunning temples clustered around the BindusagarTank. O/n Hotel.

Day 03. Bhubaneswar to Konark:
Drive to Konark (75kms), we will stop at Dhauli where the Kalinga warlord Ashoka renounced bloody warfare and embraced the teachings of Buddha. We arrive to the hotel early afternoon. O/n Hotel.

Day 04. Konark to Puri:
Visit to temple Chariot of the Sun God, built by King Langula Narasimha Deva in the thirteenth century AD. Afternoon drive to Puri Lake about 02 hrs. O/n Hotel.

Day 05. Puri:
Puri, the popular beach resort, is one of the four holy abodes in India. It offers the rare experience of watching both sunset and sunrise from the same beach. O/n Hotel.

Day 06. Puri:
We spend this morning at the artisan village Raghurajpur near Puri which specializes in pattrachitrs an art using vivid colours painted on palm leaves. O/n Hotel.

Day 07. Puri - Chilika Lake:
The drive to Chilika Lake takes ,us through scenic countryside and villages. Spread over 1,100 sq km, this is the country's largest lake. O/n Hotel.

Day 08. Chilika Lake to Goapalpur:
After breakfast we will drive to Goapalpur on Sea. Our last night of luxury before embarking on the rugged journey through the tribal areas. O/n Hotel.

Day 09. Gopalpur to Taptapani:
Morning free to relax, afternoon drive to Taptapani (150kms/). Enjoy the small hot springs in this peaceful village. O/n Inspection Bungalow.


Day 10. Taptapani to Rayagada:
On the 220kms drive today we will stop at the villages of the Saoras, a major tribe who live in the hilly areas. O/n Hotel.

Day 11. Rayagada to Kothgarh to Rayagada:
The excursion today makes us to the Kothgarh tribal area (180kms). Return to Raygada. O/n Hotel.

Day l2. Raygada to jeypore:
Drive to jeypore (250kms) through Chatikona, visit a few Dongariya Kondh villages. O/n Hotel.

Day 13. Jeypore to Onukudelli to Jeypore:
The area we visit today is the home of the fierce Bondas (naked people) of Tibetan- Burmese origin. Return to jeypore. Drive to Onukudelli (180kms) and visit Bonda and Gadhaba villages. Return to jeypore. O/n Hotel.

Day 14. Jeypore to Gupteswar to Jeypore:
A day excursion today to Gupteswar (140 km) to visit the caves, which are believed to have been the refuge for Lord Ram during his days of exile and the place where he worshiped Lord Shiva. On the way we will visit a few Dhuruba villages. Return to jeypore. O/n Hotel.

Day l5. Jeypore to Vishakapatnam:
Today we drive to Vishakapatnam (210 km) and mentally prepare ourselves to re-enter modern society O/n Hotel.

Day 16. Vishakapatnam to Kolkata:
Free morning to stroll through the local bazaar and go to the fishing harbour the 11th century Orissan style Simachalam Temple and the Kailash Temple. Flight to Kolkata dep. 1350 hrs, arr. 1610 hrs. Transfer to International airport for flight home.
