The 17th century summer Palace is now a property of Taj group and known as the Taj Lake Palace Hotel. It is a three storeyed building empurpled in yellow stones and marble slabs with beautifully crafted white marbles on its exterior. Lake Pichola

Mandir is situated on Lake Pichola that adorns a giant stone sculpture of

Saheliyon-Ki- Bari : Built in early 18th century AD, Saheliyon-
Ki- Bari was a perfect place for the royal ladies to spend their free time.
It is a famous garden that comprises of lotus pool, fountains (in the shape
of birds), lush green lawns, flowerbeds, and marble pavilions, offering a
breathtaking view to visitors.
Jagdish Temple : Created in 1651 AD by Maharana Jagat Singh,
Jagdish Temple is the largest and the most beautiful temple in Udaipur. The
temple is dedicated to lord Vishnu and decorated with beautiful sculpted images
and towering Shikara.
How to get there
Air : Maharana Pratap Airport at Udaipur is the nearest one
and situated at a distance of 26 km from the Lake Palace.
Rail : Udaipur railway station is located at a distance of
4 km from the Lake palace. Palace On Wheels and Royal Orient express are the
best tourist trains, apart from these there are Shatabdi Express, Rajhdhani
Express and Konkan Express available through out the year.
Road : Rajasthan State Transport runs their Deluxe and Semi-Deluxe
buses and connects to major parts of India.
