For the adventurous traveler, or for those who want to learn more about the African bush, a walking safari is the perfect way to "get amongst it all". Rather than just being a spectator you will feel much closer to nature and you will be as fascinated by strange insects and plants, as you will be exhilarated by a close encounter with big game. Professional guides conduct these walks in a very safe and professional manner and the experience is enhanced by their intimate understanding and knowledge of the surrounding bush combined with a very careful approach to the wildlife that is being viewed.
Our walking trails operate in a wilderness area that has been set aside for walking and canoe safaris only. It is unlikely that we will see any other travellers during your stay. As a rule you will be based at one site with all activities originating and ending there, this provides a relaxed and fulfilling experience with the opportunity to get to know an area particularly well.
