GINGER RAIL YATRI NIVAS NEW

Ginger Rail Yatri Niwas, New Delhi, is located at the Ajmeri Gate side of the New Delhi Railway Station. This hotel was originally built in 1988 as part of Indian Railways’ efforts to offer hotel rooms to railway passengers at reasonable rates. The hotel was renovated within nine months with an investment of about Rs 10.5 crore to offer the customers 109 rooms and a plethora of facilities. The hotel also offers a gymnasium and a meeting room for the convenience of guests.
Additionally, it offers a 24x7 restaurant serving an array of food items from across India and different parts of the world. A bookstore catering to the travellers’ intellectual appetite and a travel desk for their local sightseeing and travel needs are also made available. There is a 24X 7 medical store as well.
The rooms cost Rs 1,199 inclusive of taxes. Fifty per cent of the rooms are offered at Rs 999 per room per night inclusive of all taxes. This hotel also has four-bedded rooms where each bed is available for Rs 250 per night. In addition to being located in the heart of the central business district of the capital, it is extremely well connected with other parts of the capital as it is virtually above the Delhi metro station.
