The king renamed Lakhan as Naganimora in honour of his dead wife. “Nagani” means Naga Queen and “mora” meaning death. The dying place of Naga Queen. One can see some of the houses constructed in the true Konyak tradition with palm leaves roofing and the main pillars jutting out. Chui is also famous for things ethnic. The artisans and craftsmen of the village are not
only good at bamboo and woodworks but are experts in gun and gunpowder making. A “Must See” for those tourists who have no time to see other further villages.

This hill, which is the highest in the district, is about 70 km East of Mon. From the peak, one can have a clear view
of both river Brahmaputra and Chindwin on a clear day. There is a waterfall on the slopes of this hill. This is one of the best locations in the whole of Konyak countryside.
