Day 01. Arrive Trivandrum. - Kovalam by surface (16 kms/10Miles)
Meeting and assistance on arrival by our representative and
proceed for half day city tour of Trivandrum Visit Padhamanabha Swamy temple,
Museum, Horse Palce, Art Gallery. Later drive to Kovalam and check-in at the
hotel. Kovalam (16 Kms from Trivandrum city) this international beach has been
the favourite haunt of tourist since 1930's. Kovalam consists of three adjacent
crescent beaches, the southernmost, known as lighthouse beach is the most popular.
This most renowned beach destination is much sought after for sunbathing, water
sports, shopping, catamaran cruising, yoga, meditation and rejuvenative Ayurvedic
body toning massages. Evening you will be free at Kovalam Beach. Overnight at
Hotel.
Day 02. Kovalam - Kanyakumari by surface (74
kms/46Miles) After breakfast drive to
Kanyakumari enroute sightseeing of Padhmanabha swamy temple &
Suchindram Temple. Kanyakumari, the land's end of India or the point where
the three seas meet, is the enchanting Kanyakumari or Cape Comorin. It is
one of the most popular tourist spots in the state and indeed, in the
country. On arrival proceed for sightseeing of Kanayakumari includes
Vivekanadha Rock temple, Gandhi Memorial etc. Check-in at the hotel.

Day 03. Kanyakumari - Madurai by surface
(242kms151Miles) After breakfast drive to
Madurai and check-in at the hotel. It is the oldest city in Tamil Nadu.
Madurai lies on the banks of the River Vaigai the Temple and the old city
are on the southern bank while modern Madurai with its textile mills,
Engineering industries and large university sprawls around. According to
legend, it was at this sacred spot that a drop of nectar (Mathuram) fell
from Shiva's matted locks, thus giving its name Madurai. Rest of the day
free. Overnight at Hotel.
Day 04. Madurai
After breakfast proceed for sightseeing visiting the Great
Meenakshi Temple, dedicated to consort of Lord Shiva with its towering Gopurams
(rising high above the surrounding country side). Later visit the Tirumala Nayak
Palace - A gracious building in the Indo sacracenic style, famous for the Stucco
work on its domes and arches ,the Pazhamudir Solai Temple, and the Kallazhagar
Koil. Afternoon free for shopping. Evening again visit the temple for watching
the night ceremony. Overnight at Hotel.
Day 05. Madurai - Rameshwaram by surface (158 kms)
After breakfast drive to Rameswaram and check-in at the
hotel. Rameshwaram, is an island hallowed by the Ramayana. A devotee who
visit Varanasi is also expected to visit this place to gain the full fruit
of his prayers, This place is sacred to Shaivites and Vaishnavites.
Evening visit Ramanatha Swami temple, close to the sea on the eastern side
of the island, famous for its magnificient corridors and massive
sculptured pillars lining them. It is also one of the 12 jyotilinga
shrines in the country. Overnight at Hotel.
Day 06. Rameshwaram - Kodaikanal by surface ( 279
kms/175Miles) Morning again visit the
temple and later proceed to Kodaikanal. Kodaikanal is just the right place
for boating, trekking and long walks in tree-covered glades. Pleasant in
the summer, it is slightly chilly in the winter, specially after the sun
sets. Located at the southern tip os the upper Palanimalai Hill, this
beautiful hill station is one of the very famous tourist places in South
India. On arrival check-in at the hotel. Overnight at Hotel.
Day 07. Kodaikanal Breakfast
at thehotel. Day at leisure. Overnight at Hotel.
Day 08. Kodaikanal - Madurai by surface (121
kms/76Miles) In time transfer to Madurai
Airport/Railway station to connect flight/train for onward destination.
