Day 01. Arrive Cochin. Cochin - Munnar by surface (130 kms)
Meeting and assistance on arrival by our representative and
transfer to Munnar. On arrival check-in at the hotel. Munnar - Situated at the
confluence of three mountain streams - Mudra Puzha, Nalla Thanni & Kundala,
this hill station was the summer resort of British Government in South India.
Sprawing tea plantations, picture-book towns, winding lanes and holiday facility
make this popular hill station. Munnar has also has the highest peak of South
India Anamudi which towers over 2695 mtrs. It is ideal spot for trekking. Rest
of the day free. Overnight at Hotel.
Day 02. Munnar After
breakfast you will be taken for a sightseeing of Munnar, which includes
Rajamalai, Matuppetty, Kundala Dam. (Subject to permission from
authorities) Rest of the day explore the city of Munnar. Overnight at
Hotel.
Day 03. Munnar -Thekkady by surface (124
kms/78Miles) After breakfast drive to
Thekkady and arrival check in at Hotel. Evening motor boat ride on Lake
Periyar to watch animals in their natural habitat. The earliest sanctuary,
it was set up in 1934 and forms part of the mountain ranges, the Western
Ghats. Cruising on Lake Periyar, you are likely to see animals like wild
boars, sambars, wild dogs, langur monkeys and wild elephants. Overnight at
Hotel.
Day 04. Thekkady - Kumarakom by surface (127
kms78Miles) After breakfast drive to
Kumarakom and check-in at the hotel. Kumarakom is the loveliest village in
Kerala blessed with natures rare gifts is onthe eastern side of vast
Vembanad Lake. Kumarakom provides boating, fishingand sightseeing
experiences that are too exhilarating. An exclusive attraction ofthis much
sought after backwater resort is Kumarakom bird sanctuary. Rest of the day
free at Hotel. Overnight at Hotel.
Day 05. Kumarakom
Breakfast at the hotel. Day at leisure. Overnight at Hote
Day 06. Kumarakom - Alleppey by surface (176 kms/110Miles)
After breakfast drive to Alleppey and check-in at the House
Boat. Referred to as the Venice of the East by travelers from across the world,
this backwater country is also home to diverse animal and bird life. By virtue
of its proximity to the sea, the town has always enjoyed a unique place in the
maritime history of Kerala. Alappuzha has grown in importance as a backwaters
tourist each year, attracting several thousand of tourist. Alappuzha is also
famous for its boat races, houseboat holidays, beaches., marine products and
coir industry. Rest of the day you will be in House Boat. Overnight at House
Boat.
Day 07. Alleppey - Cochin by surface (63
kms/39Miles) Disembark at Alleppey and
drive to Cochin. The commericial capital and most cosmopolitan city of
Kerala is Cochin (Kochi),is also known as Queen of Arabian Sea. It is one
of the finest natural harbours ofthe world, this was once a major center
of commerce and trade with British,Arabs, Chinese, Portuguees, Dutch etc.
Afternoon sightseeing of Cochin includes Jew Synagogue, Dutch Palace,
St.Francis Church, Chinese fishing net etc. Overnight at Hotel.
Day 08. Depart Cochin In
time transfer Airport/Railway station to connect flight/train for onward
destination.
