Destination : Khthmandu - Chitwan - Pokhara - Dhulikhel
Day 01 : Arrive Kathmandu
On arrival, our representative will greet you at the airport and assist with
the transfer and checking in to the hotel. Rest of the day will be at leisure.
Evening explore around the Thamel.
Day 02 : In Kathmandu
After breakfast, proceed for sightseeing of Old Delhi which will take you to
Jama Masjid, - the largest mosque in India. Drive past the After breakfast,
proceed for a city sightseeing tour visiting the Durbar square, which is a concentrated
mass of temples and Monuments like Kasthamandap is a building from which Kathmandu
has derived its name. Ashok binayak is a small pagoda temple dedicated to elephant
headed god Ganesha, Maju Deval is a temple with five tire plinth popular for
basking and for fixing informal appointments with friends, Shiva Parvati Temple
with an image of Shiva with his Consort Parvati on a open window watching world
go by below them, Kumari Bahal - house of leaving goddess, Krishna Temple -
Octagonal stone temple eight corner signifying the eight incarnation of God
Vishnu, Jaggannath Temple with erotic carving on its roof struts, Kala Bhairab
- A huge stone image with six arms tramples the corps is the fearsome manifestation
of Shiva, which represent human ignorance. Taleju Temple - A huge magnificent
pagoda temple dedicated to goddess Taleju, goddess from the south India but
later she became the tutorial goddess of Royal family. Hanuman Dhoka - Ancient
Royal seat guarded by Hanuman - monkey headed God, in this Palace no longer
Royal family lives; it has been retained for the ceremonial purpose.
A short drive from Kathmandu city will lead us to Swoyambhunath Stupa - 2500
years old stupa is a symbolic representation of Buddhahood. In afternoon a short
drive to the ancient city Patan - the city of beauty is also known as Lalitpur,
visit the Patan Durbar square with Royal Palace, the place which still displays
the stunning Newari architects. Bhimsen Temple dedicated to Bhimsen the god
of trade & business, Vishwanath Temple dedicated to Shiva, Krishna Mandir
dedicated to Krishna eighth incarnation of Vishnu, Krishna Temple is the eight
corner stone temple is also the masterpiece that is to be found in Nepal also
know as Chyasin Deval means eight corner, Golden Temple is unique monastery
few minutes walk from the Durbar Square. Mahaboudha is the temple of 1000 Buddha
is another fascinating Shikhara type temple. Rudra Varna Mahabihar is one of
the best known monasteries in Patan. Enjoy the drive back to Kathmandu
Day 03 : Kathmandu - Chitwan
After breakfast, drive to Chitwan National park- approx 4hrs drive. Upon arrival,
enjoy lunch and one of naturalist will brief you about the wildlife tours. Later
visit the village on an oxen cart.
Chitwan, a perfect retreat for wildlife viewing, where you will spend two nights
participating various Jungle activities like Elephant safari, Canoe Ride, Jungle
walk, Bird watching, Elephant briefing, Elephant bathing.
Day 04 : In Chitwan
Indulge in the various jungle activities
Day 05 : Chitwan - Pokhara
After breakfast, enjoy the 4hrs drive to Pokhara. On arrival, check in hotel.
Later explore around the lake side and rest of the day at leisure.
Day 06 : Pokhara
After breakfast visit the Famous Phewa Lake of Pokhara. Phewa Tal or Phewa Lake
is the tourist center in Pokhara and the second largest Lake in Nepal. Bindyabasini
Temple is Pokhara’s most cultural attraction, noteworthy, for its sweeping
mountain views. David’s falls got its name after a person called David’s
committed suicide taking his girlfriend along; originally the local name of
the fall is Patala Chago. Tibetan settlements – as in Kathmandu Tibetans
do have a settlement in Pokhara and where they weave Tibetan Carpets.
Day 07 : Pokhara - Kathmandu
After Breakfast drive to Kathmandu. On arrival, check in at hotel and rest of
the day at leisure.
Day 08 : Kathmandu - Dhulikhel
After breakfast drive to Dhulikhel. On arrival, check in at the Resort.
Later, proceed for a walk in the village and visit the local family giving an
insight into Nepalese culture and life-style.
Day 10 : Dhulikhel – Kathmandu Airport
After breakfast, drive to Kathmandu airport to board flight for onward journey.
