The 10- biennial global Congress of the International Colored Gemstone Association (ICA) was held in Jaipur from January 5 to 9,2003. The logo of the Congress named 'Jewel in the Crown' was created in Jaipur. This gem-studded golden crown weighing 460 gm. Was hand-created by a team of skilled craftsmen in the traditional' Kundan-Meenakan' art.

The Crown was later auctioned in the Congress and fetched US$ 45000. The ICA Congress¬2003 which was held in Jaipur is considered to be best so far and a positive step in furthering and popularizing the Indian colored gemstones' studded jewellery exports.
