Khajuraho is a place with magnificent collections of temples.
It was builit in 950 - 1050 A.D. by the Chandela rulers. The city drives
its name from the Khajur ( The palm Tree) and is world fame for its temples
shrines. Architecture and sculpture. The Divine sculpture are the tribute
to life. The mural paintings reflects the life and the Chandelas time period.
There was 85 temples in the ancient time only 20 of them is survived. The
most vibrant and important aspect of the khajuraho is the decorated facades
and decoration of interiors of the shrines. Khajuraho is situated in the
Chattarpur district of Madhya Pradesh. These temples are based on a theme
i.e. women, which reflect itself, it is a celebration of woman's different
kinds of moods and facets.
In Khajuraho there are mahadev Temple, Lakshmana Temple, Lakshmi Temple,
Varaha Devi Temple and Jagdamba Temple.

Leave the hotel for Khajuraho. Check into the hotel. After getting fresh visit the city of Khajuraho, various temples that are famous for its sculpture and art and architecture structure. Enjoy a cultural and light and sound show. Overnight at Khajuraho.
Day 03 : Delhi
Drive for Delhi for your onward journey.
