Tour to South India Hill
Duration : 12 Nights / 13 Days
Destination covered: Cochin - Munnar - Periyyar - Kumarakam - Alleppey - Kodaikanal - Ooty - Coimbatore - Chennai
Day 1: Arrival Cochin
Upon arrival Cochin, a warm welcome by our representative and then transfer to the hotel. Upon arrival, check in at the hotel. Over night stay at the hotel.
Day 2: Cochin
After breakfast, proceed for the city sightseeing tour of Cochin visiting Dutch Palace, Jewish Synagogue, St.Francis Church, Bolghatty, Gunda and Willington Islands, Kerala History Museum, Hill Palace Museum, Parishath Taamburan Museum, Chinese Fishing Nets. In the evening at 6 pm proceed for a Kathakali classical dance show. Over night stay at the hotel.
Day 3: Cochin - Munnar
After breakfast, check out from the hotel and proceed to Munnar, the beautiful Hill station lies in between nature lush green hills. Enjoy the panoramic views of low flying clouds while traveling to the Munnar. Upon arrival, check in at the hotel. Later in the afternoon, visit the Attukad water falls, Pothamedu view point and blossom park (the new attraction of Munnar). Return back to the hotel by the evening. Over night at stay the hotel.
Day 4: Munnar
After breakfast, proceed for a full day city sightseeing tour to visit Photo Point, Madupatty dam, Echo point, Shooting point, Elephant arrival spot and Rajamallai , the beautiful hill station. Over night stay at the hotel.
Day 5: Periyar
After breakfast, check out from the hotel and proceed for Periyar. The drive to Periyar is itself enchanting as the road passes through tranquil countryside with rich plantation and thick jungles. The wildlife sanctuary offers a beautiful and comfortable way to see god made creatures by boat on man made lake. It is natural habitat of elephant, bison, spotted dear, sambar, bear & variety of birds etc. Periyar is one of the world's most fascinating wild life sanctuaries. Upon arrival Periyar, check in at the hotel. In the evening proceed for a boat ride in the Lake Periyar and also enjoy Elephant riding. Over night stay at the hotel.
Day 6: Periyar - Kumarakom
After breakfast, check out from the hotel and proceed to Kumarakam. Upon arrival, check in at the hotel. Later in the afternoon, proceed for sightseeing tour of Kumarakam, the jewels of Kerala and Kumarakom Bird Sanctuary. Over night stay at the hotel.
Day 7: Kumarakom - Alleppey
After breakfast, check out from the hotel and drive to Alleppey. Alleppey is spread through canals, lakes and lagoons and is the main hub for backwater cruises. Alleppey lies between the Arbian Sea and Vembanad Lake. On arrival Alleppey, check in at the traditional House boat for overnight stay to enjoy the breathtakingly stimulating experience in this moving Palace. While sailing down a maze of canals one sees different scenes of the Villages, Paddy fields, Coconut palms, Fishermen and local life. Enjoy the traditional Keralite Lunch and Dinner on board. The cool breeze from the Lake makes you sleep early in the night after anchoring in a fancy place dinner. Over night stay in the houseboat.
Day 8: Kodaikanal
After breakfast, check out from the house boat and drive to Kodaikanal another beautiful Hill station in the adjoining state of Tamilnadu. Upon arrival, check in at the hotel. Spend rest of the day free for individual activities. Over night stay at the hotel.
Day 9: kodaikanal
After breakfast, proceed for the sight seeing tour of Kodaikanal and visit Bryant's park, Coaker's park, Kurinji Andavar Temple, Telescope house, Green Valley view point, Pillar's Rock, Silent Valley View and the Chittiar Park. Over night stay at the hotel.
Day 10: Kodaikanal - Ooty (270 kms)
After breakfast, check out from the hotel and proceed to Ooty, known as Queen of Hills and most popular Hills Stations in South India. Upon arrival, check in at the hotel. Spend rest of the day at leisure. Over night stay at the hotel.
Day 11: Ooty Ooty Tour Packages
After breakfast, proceed for sight seeing tour of Ooty and visit Botanical Garden, Lake Park, Ooty Lake, Deer Park, Art Gallery, Doddabetta, Rose Garden & Lalit Kala Academy. Over night stay at the hotel.
Day 12: Ooty - Coimbatore
After breakfast, check out from the hotel and proceed to Coimbatore. Upon arrival, check in at the hotel. Halft day sightseeing tour of Coimbatore. Over night stay at the hotel.
Day 13: Coimbatore - Chennai - Back home
