Welcome to one of Africa's most unspoiled wilderness areas where some of the largest herds in southern Africa roam free and wild in vast game reserves. National Parks cover 17% of Botswana (one of the highest percentages of any country in the world) and an additional 22% of the country has been set-aside as wildlife management areas.
Botswana's combination of great game viewing on land and by water, uncrowded reserves, excellent small camps and quality guiding is difficult to beat. And in these off peak months there is even more joy to be had. Very few travellers, and after the long dry season, the first storms arrive with plenty of drama, thunder and lightening. Day 01 & 02 - Central Kalahari Game Reserve, Deception Valley Lodge
On arrival at Maun Airport you will transfer to a charter flight to Deception Valley Lodge where you will spend two nights and three days exploring the Central Kalahari Game Reserve.
Day 03 & 04 - Okavango Delta, Sandibe Safari Lodge
A morning flight to Maun connects with your flight into the Okavango Delta where you will spend two nights at Sandibe Lodge, on the banks of the Santantadibe River, adjacent to the Moremi Game Reserve. Your days will be filled with game viewing on land and on water.
Day 05 & 06 - Okavango Delta, Nxabega Camp
After a morning game activity you will be flown to the western edge of the Okavango Delta and Nxabega Camp where you will spend two nights on a secluded 7000 ha private wildlife concession. Here you have the chance of big game viewing and to explore the permanent waterways of the western Delta.
Day 07 - Safari ends, Maun
In time for your onward connections you will be transferred to Maun by charter flight.
