and printed. Technology has advanced by leaps and bounds. Now, cameras have
come up with interesting and customer-friendly features, which have made capturing
beautiful moments a lot easier. New-age gizmos have made lives easier but, at
the same time, are a lot more techno-oriented. Sony brings to you cameras with
various features and prices suiting every pocket.
DSC H 10
The new high-zoom digital camera - Cyber-shot DSC-H10 - is an ideal choice
for avid lovers of photography. DSC-H10 combines superior technical performance
in a convienent, pocket friendly size that enables to capture incredible images.
The 8-megapixel camera with its powerful Carl Zeiss® 10x optical zoom lens
and a long-range flash is perfect for helping you easily capture close-ups,
even from a distance. Its face detection technology can identify and focus on
up to eight faces in a frame and automatically adjusts the focus. It also includes
advanced sports shooting mode, which combines high shutter speed and continuous
auto-focusing to help you capture fast-action shots. It also has additional
accessories such as wide and telephoto conversion lenses, filters, batteries,
travel chargers, sports packs and cases.
CYBER-SHOT W-SERIES: DSC-W150, DSC-W170, DSC-W300
Leading the latest line-up are the feature-packed DSC-W170 and DSC-W150 that
deliver up to 10.1 mega-pixel resolution. Incorporating a 5x optical zoom with
their wide-angle lens, the cameras offer convenient photo capture of distant
objects, greater image depth enhancement and larger, sweeping perspectives.
The DSC-W300 is one of the most high-resolution point-and-shoot digital cameras
featuring niche performance options. The camera integrates an ultra-high 13.6
megapixel CCD imager along with a Carl Zeiss Vario-Tessar 3x optical zoom lens,
a 2.7-inch LCD screen and an eye-level viewfinder in a compact size. With ultra-hard
titanium coating, the model offers a premium look that is highly-resistant to
scratches and messy fingerprints. The DSC-W300 features an 'extra highspeed'
burst mode and 'extra high sensitivity' mode (up to ISO 6,400 in this mode only)
to help minimise blurry photos when shooting in challenging I i g h t i n g
conditions, even without a flash. Slim and compact, these W-series models incorporate
BIONZ- image processing engine and Carl-Zeiss lenses.
CYBER-SHOT T-SERIES: DSC-T300
The stylish and slim 10 mega-pixel DSC-T300 camera features
'intelligent scene recognition' mode and popular smile shutter function. In
addition to a unique cover design that protects the camera lens and prevents
dust build-up, its wide 16:9 aspect ratio LCD screen implements a high resolution
touch screen interface, allowing for convenient operation. The large 3.5-inch
screen is also layered with an anti-reflective AR coating to achieve high visibility
even under strong sunlight.
CYBER-SHOT H-SERIES: DSC-HSO
This new model utilises a powerful Carl Zeiss 15x optical zoom lens that yields
sharp, high-contrast images and reduces colour fringing, even when shooting
in 'telephoto ranges'. Ideal for fast-action shooting, the 9.1-megapixel DSC-HSO
digital camera is the perfect choice for people looking for high zoom, high-resolution
and speed. The camera also features a large, 3-inch tilting LCD screen so that
you can shoot comfortably from nearly any position. Its scratch-resistant, UV
hard-coat finish adds a premium look that mirrors the performance of the model.
The DSC-HSO combines high shutter speeds with predictive continuous auto-focusing
so that you can quickly focus and capture fast-moving subjects with minimal
shutter lag -basically the time it takes for the camera to focus and shoot.
