The haunting beauty of Old Cathay still remains: yellow-tiled temple roofs curve against a lacquered sky; old and mellow pagodas grace the hills of her green countryside; and the Great Wall built, Incredibly, in the 3rd Century BC, once an active frontier, is still there. We will see all these things during our travels as well as experience for ourselves the friendliness of the Chinese people - which Is as much a part of our enjoyment as the sightseeing itself.
We will walk through old imperial palaces and climb the worn steps of now deserted
pagodas and marvel at the relics and remains all around us.
