SATURDAY DEPARTURES
ITINERARY
1st day
Leave London in the evening by Thai International for Delhi.
INDIA
2nd day
Arrive in the morning and transfer to the Sofftel
Surya Hotel. The rest of the day is at leisure.
3rd day
Sightseeing in Delhi including the Red Fort, and
the marble-domed Jama Masjid Mosque.
4th day
Full morning’s drive to Agra visiting en route Sikandra burial place
of Akbar the Great. Stay at the Taj View Hotel (or similar).
5th day
Morning sightseeing including the Taj Mahal and Agra For. Afternoon at leisure.
6th day
A day’s drive via the city of Fatehipur Sikri and the bird sanctuary
of Shansi to Jaipur. Stay at the Jai Mahal Hotel (or similar).
7th day
In the morning there will be a tour of Jaipur including the Hawa Mahal (Palace
of the Winds) and the Maharajah’s Palace. Afternoon free.
8th day
Visit Amber, the old city of Jaipur, and take an elephant ride to the palace
set on a hill dominating the town. Return in the afternoon to the Softel Surya
Hotel in Delhi for overnight.
