KASHMIR TOUR

Day 1
Fly to Srinagar, in the vale of Kashmir, a flower-filled Himalayan valley. Drive through the ancient capital to the peaceful Dal Lake reflecting the mountains around and then transfer by shikara across the lake to our well-appointed houseboat.

Day 2
At leisure in Kashmir. Plenty of opportunity to explore, taking boat-rides (shikara) an the lotus-covered Dal Lake or down the Jhelum River into Srinagar itself to shop for hand-woven carpets and intricate wood carvings. Drive up to Gulmarg, ‘the Meadow of Flowers’, for rating, trout fishing or a round of golf. Visit Pahalgam and stroll through the beautiful, pine-scented Liddar Valley.

Day 3

In the afternoon return by air to Delhi and transfer to the Tel Palace Inter-Continental Hotel.

Day 4

Departure by Thai Airways for London Heathrow, where we arrive in the morning.
