ACROSS THE ROOF OF THE WORLD

16-DAY ESCORTED TOUR

This tour combines two of the most spectacular areas in the world; the Hindu Kingdom of Nepal and the devoutly Buddhist region of Tibet. For many centuries

both were dosed to foreigners and the few who tried to visit, had to negotiate the harsh and mighty Himalayan mountain landscape.

Today, we are able to share in the secrets that were hidden from the world for so long; marvellous secrets such as the mediaeval wooden buildings dotted around Kathmandu and the incredible Potala Palace of Lhasa. We shall see the pilgrims prostrating themselves at temples and monasteries and meet many of the friendly local people on this journey “Across the Roof of the World’.
