Perfect for walkers, this compact, semi-detached cottage is set on a very steep wooded lane which runs in one direction to beautiful Carbis Bay beach and up to Carbis Bay and its many amenities in the other. Formerly a miner's cottage, Tintin Cottage has a cosy sitting/dining-room with an open fire, and a little kitchen where open-tread stairs lead up to the bedroom and shower-room. Outside granite steps lead up to a sheltered decked rear terrace - perfect for a morning coffee with a croissant or two. Although Tintin Cottage cannot be accessed by car due to the steep narrow lane, private parking is available at April Cottage (1871) 200 yards away. The walks from the property are abundant, with the seaside town of St Ives along the cliffs; here guests can discover the wonderful selection of galleries and restaurants. A perfect retreat! Wireless broadband access is available.
