Madron, set on the outskirts of the ancient market town of Penzance, is famous locally for its Wishing Well and Lanyon Quoit where, according to folklore, you can see the whole world when you stand on top - and you can, I am sure! Clematis Cottage, on the road leading to the church, is without doubt in the heart of the village. Although this traditional terraced cottage has no garden, it is very spacious and cosy inside. A stable-door opens into the sitting/dining-room which has a wooden floor and a wood-burner, which guarantees warmth for those cooler out-of-season evenings. A narrow, galley kitchen is equipped for all your culinary needs. Stairs lead up to the bedroom and the bright bathroom. Nearby, the Penwith coastline, Land's End and St Ives are just waiting to be explored. A cot is not provided, please bring your own travel cot.
