Slate floors, a beautiful oak kitchen, a gorgeous brass bed and two sink-into sofas facing the wood-burner - this romantic, stylish retreat for two is the perfect place to completely unwind. With a private, sunny patio outside you will hardly be aware that delightful single-storey Chynoweth Cottage lies near the Owners' home (attached to their private gym), tucked away in the countryside outside the village of St Erth, a short drive from St Ives and the golden beaches of both north and south coasts. The slow, bumpy drive down the long unmade track (unsuitable for low suspension or heavily-laden vehicles) is definitely worth it! This lovely, peaceful little haven is approached by steps down from the parking-area and overlooks the Owners' garden, five acres of land including a large pond, which guests are welcome to share. The property has a private water supply, regularly tested.
Accommodation : Ground Floor Kitchen with gas hob, electric oven, microwave, fridge and dishwasher. Sitting/Dining-room with TV, DVD player, CD player and wood-burner. Bedroom with double bed. Shower-room with shower, WC and wash-basin. Outside access to Outhouse with freezer and shared washing machine and tumble-drier.
